Rudy Ruggiero alias Ruggero
Comploj was born in Innsbruck, Austria. He grew up in Germany,
Austria and Italy. In 1979 at the young age of 18 he moved to, New
York. And although he lived in cities such as Milan, Munich, Paris,
New York, Los Angeles and Vienna, HE underlines the matter of fact
that he does not stem from wealth nor diplomatic surroundings, but
rather, quite the opposite. After acting-school in Germany and New
York (HB-Studio & Stella Adler), he worked the Off-Off Broadway
scene for a while with occasional appearances on TV and Film. Out of
the blue he decided to move to, Tel Aviv, where he lived for six
years and Hebrew was added to his English, German, Italian and
French. His debut in, Cinema(The Cannon Group) was a small role
playing opposite, "Lauren Bacall" in the feature,
"Appointment with Death"(1988)''', directed by,
"Michael Winner"...After being tossed around and
riding out a difficult marriage, which lasted three years and stalled
his acting career, he returned to live in NYC and LA where he stayed
until the year 2000/01, thus the year of the longest actor/talent
strike in Hollywood history - currently he lives and works out of
Berlin and Vienna. Over the past two decades Ruggero appeared in
numerous international Film/TV productions...
